Newborn Photoshoots
Throughout the shoot, we keep it really relaxed so that the images captured feel organic, true and perfect for you. I always bring a large selection of props to work with and my style is very soft and natural using beautiful textures, neutral palettes and natural light.
I will come to your home so that you’re comfortable in your own surroundings and the shoot will unfurl at a pace that’s right for you and baby, there is no rush. I will send you a guide on how to prepare yourselves for your newborn lifestyle photography session including what to wear.

I offer maternity photography in Suffolk and surrounding areas for Mums-to-be who want to capture this incredibly special time in their lives. Let’s celebrate you and capture the beauty and joy of this precious moment. Whether you prefer the surroundings of your home or backdrop of the outdoors, my lifestyle maternity shoots are natural and relaxed, in my signature airy style. My aim is to create elegant, relaxed portraits that authentically reflect the essence of your pregnancy journey.

You can book your newborn photography session from as early on as your 20 week scan. Please send me a message via my contact form to arrange. At this point, I will take a £50 deposit from you to secure your shoot date. I usually complete my newborn session around the 1-2 weeks of age range, however we can do these sessions at any point but the older and bigger they become the less likely they will fit into some of my props. However we can still get a very stunning beautiful gallery so do not let this put you off.

When you contact me to book your session we will pencil a date in the calendar, of course babies never do anything on time so this is just a rough date, we can move it around to suit us both once you have had your little one.

My lifestyle maternity and newborn photography sessions are very natural and relaxed, please do not over think them too much. The best clothing choices would be simple light neutral colours. If you look through my galleries you can see examples to get ideas.
Avoid dark/black colours, we want as much light clothing as possible as this will assist me with the lighting conditions in your home.
I do bring a lot of props and accessories for the baby but if you have anything you would like included into the session that is very welcomed.

For your newborn shoot, it is best to clear away objects and minimalise as much as possible, but I can move stuff around as necessary (as long as you do not mind).

It generally takes 2-4 weeks for me to make your final gallery. As soon as it is ready you will receive password protected online gallery, where you will be able to view, choose, share with your family and friends your images. I keep online gallery open for you for at least 2 weeks, so you have plenty of time to make your choice or download your purchased images.

The online gallery allows you to purchase extra digital files if you have not bought all the gallery, as part of your package. You also can buy prints and wall art from professional printing lab, usb etc. Your family and friends can also place orders the same way directly from me.

I offer maternity and newborn photography in Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and surrounding areas. Travel is included up to 1 hour from Aldeburgh. Further travel costs will apply if you are more than an hour from me so please do get in touch for a bespoke quote.
